Additional Information for Overseas Voters

Provisional Ballots: A voter claiming to be properly registered, but whose qualifications to vote cannot be immediately established, is entitled to vote a provisional ballot at either his/her precinct or at the office of the county clerk and recorder. This might include a voter who was inadvertently left off the registration list, a voter who requested an absentee ballot but did not return the ballot to the County Clerk, or a voter with some other technicality which resulted in that voter being denied the ability to vote. The provisional ballot would be segregated for counting at a later time after registration information is verified.
