"You know, when I traveled around the world as your Secretary of State, one of the most frequent questions I was asked was, "How could you and President Obama work together after you fought so hard in that campaign?' People were genuinely amazed, which I suppose is understandable, considering that in many places, when you lose an election or you oppose someone who wins you could get imprisoned or exiled--even killed--not hired as Secretary of State. And it's true, I was surprised when the President asked me to serve. But he made that offer, and I accepted it, because we both love our country."
