Perriello Praises Supreme Court Decision on McDonald v. City of Chicago

Congressman Tom Perriello today praised the Supreme Court decision on McDonald v. City of Chicago, which ruled that the right to keep and bear arms is federally protected under all 50 states. Perriello was one of a bipartisan group of 251 Members of Congress and 58 Senators supporting the Second Amendment who joined a congressional amicus brief sent to the Supreme Court in this case.

"This is a victory for the Second Amendment and for our Constitution. I stood strong with many of my colleagues from both sides of the aisle in defending the Second Amendment and helping to secure this victory for gun owners everywhere."
