Campbell Statement on Senate Immigration Bill
U.S. Rep. John Campbell (CA-48) today released the following statement regarding the Senate immigration bill:
"The Senate amnesty bill masquerades as a solution to the illegal immigration crisis, when it in fact perpetuates and will expand illegal immigration over the next decade because so many of its' provisions are unenforceable. The proposed amendments will not change this underlying fact. They are akin to putting lipstick' on a pig.'
"Therefore, I will continue to vehemently oppose this legislation."
