U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today applauded President Obama's decision to nominate Marine General Joseph F. Dunford, Jr. as the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
"General Dunford is a proven leader, commanding forces in Afghanistan, with a deep understanding of the national security challenges we face. President Obama's selection of General Dunford to become the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is outstanding."
