House Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price, M.D. (GA-06) issued the following statement today after Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) announced the conferees for the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget Conference:

"Congress is set to forge an agreement on a plan to balance the nation's budget. Both the House and Senate have already passed our respective proposals that would achieve that goal, and today's appointment of conferees is the vital next step. In the days to come, we will sit down and discuss how to advance these positive solutions together in order to secure more economic growth and opportunity, hold Washington accountable, promote patient-centered health care, and ensure a strong national defense. At a time when our nation faces many challenges both at home and abroad, I look forward to working with my colleagues to achieve real results for the American people."
