Blackburn Congratulates Appointees to National Women's History Museum Commission

Congressman Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) issued the following statement on Speaker John Boehner's appointments of former U.S. Representative Marilyn Musgrave and Mrs. Kathy Wills Wright to serve on the commission to establish a National Women's History Museum.

"I commend Speaker Boehner for picking two established, conservative women to help lead the effort in moving forward this project to build a museum honoring the legacies of the women who helped shape our nation," Blackburn said. "Congratulations to Marilyn and Kathy on their appointments to this historic commission."

Congressman Blackburn along with Representative Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) led the bipartisan effort in the House to establish this commission to study the establishment of a National Women's History Museum.
