Chairman Salmon Statement on the Earthquake in Nepal

Rep. Matt Salmon (AZ-05) today issued the following statement in the aftermath of the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that shook Nepal and caused over 1,200 deaths in and around the capital of Katmandu.

"I am saddened to hear about the devastating earthquake Nepal experienced this morning, and the astronomical death toll. My deepest condolences to the citizens of Nepal, and all of the families who have lost loved ones in this tragedy. The United States will not forget Nepal, and will do everything we can to assist at this heartbreaking time."
