Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-07) released the following statement today after voting to send the Keystone XL Pipeline Approval Act, which passed the Senate 62-36 on January 29, to President Obama's desk.
"The American people have spoken, the State Department reviews are completed, the Nebraska Supreme Court has ruled, and Congress has acted in a bipartisan fashion. President Obama has used every last excuse in the book to slow walk the Keystone XL Pipeline, and now he's out of reasons to delay this important project. Building this pipeline will boost economic growth, create good-paying jobs, and help secure our energy future, and I urge President Obama to put down his veto pen and sign it into law."
