Sam Johnson Opposes "Cromnibus" Vows to Continue Fighting Executive Amnesty

Press Release

Date: Dec. 11, 2014
Location: Washington, DC

On behalf of Collin County constituents and in keeping with his conservative voting record, U.S. Congressman Sam Johnson voted against H.R. 83, The Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act of 2015 -- also known as the "Cromnibus." The bill passed 219-206.

"Today I voted against the so-called "Cromnibus' because it spends too much and does nothing to stop the President's executive action that grants amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants," said Johnson. "The good folks of Collin County, as well as the majority of Americans, have spoken loud and clear -- stop Obama's amnesty for illegals."

"Despite the fact that this bill passed, my constituents can rest assured knowing that I will continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them in fighting against the President's lawless amnesty."
