Congresswoman Duckworth Announces 2015 Military Service Academy Nominees

Today, Congresswoman Duckworth (IL-08) announced she has nominated hardworking, dedicated students from the 8th District to attend the military service academies. Rep. Duckworth, along with the 8th District Military Service Academy Board, selected 11 outstanding high school students to receive the congressional nomination that is required as part of the application for the military service academies.

"I'm so proud of this year's nominees," said Duckworth. "The nomination process is rigorous, demanding outstanding test scores, a high GPA and a commitment to community service. I wish all the nominees the best in the application process and applaud their desire to serve our country."
