Tonight, Congressman George Holding (NC-13) released the following statement after the House passed a seven-day funding bill for the Department of Homeland Security:
"I will not vote to fund the president's executive orders on immigration. Because those orders have been stopped by a federal court in Texas, at least for now, I voted to continue funding for the Department of Homeland Security for one week in the hope Congress will do, at last, what it should have done a month ago: pass legislation to fund the Department but not President Obama's executive orders."
