Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) today released the following statement after taking 1,205 consecutive roll-call votes during the 113th Congress and 2,813 consecutive roll-call votes during his tenure in Congress, maintaining a perfect voting record as a Member of Congress and the longest continuous voting streak among current colleagues in the House:

"Third District Arkansans entrusted me with the responsibility to represent them in the U.S. House of Representatives -- that means showing up to vote. I take this job very seriously and am not only humbled by my constituent's trust, but also by the good fortunes of health and circumstance with which I've been blessed that have allowed me to maintain a perfect attendance record."
