Issues: Immigration

Congressman Kevin Cramer today issued the following statement after President Obama announced an executive order on immigration policy:

"We've just had an election where the vast majority of voters said they want their government to work together. They want the House and Senate working with the President. They want Republicans and Democrats, conservatives and progressives, working on solutions. They want a government that listens to them. With this action, the President is turning his back on the people and their representatives, and acting inconsistently with our constitution and many of his own previous statements. If he persists with this type of dictatorial governing, he greatly harms our ability to function as three co-equal branches of government."
