Sean Patrick Maloney launched "Farmers for Maloney" which includes farmers from across the Hudson Valley. This week, New York Farm Bureau named Maloney a "Friend of the Farm Bureau," citing Sean's work across the aisle to support our farmers and pass a comprehensive Farm Bill.

"Our Hudson Valley farmers are our neighbors who go to work every day to provide healthy nutritious food for our local communities, and I'm honored to have the support of so many of my hardworking neighbors" said Sean Patrick Maloney.

"Sean Maloney is a breath of fresh air for the farmers of the Hudson Valley. He is working hard for policies that make sense for all of us," said Mark Adams, a Dutchess County farmer.

"As an apple grower in Orange County we are excited to have Congressman Maloney on the House Ag Committee! His dedication to keeping farms viable in the Hudson Valley is so important to our local food source, landscape and environment. In particular, he worked hard on the Farm Bill and was able to help bring it to fruition. The new Farm Bill is responsible for the crop insurance program which has been important to our ability to get through frost and hail years. It also provides more specialty crops (apples, vegetables) research funding to keep our industry competitive. We appreciate Congressman Maloney's willingness to work across the aisle on these important issues," said Jenny Crist, a fifth generation Orange County farmer.

"As a modern orchard, we practice "IPM' - integrated pest management, using the best of conventional and organic farming. Seems to us that Sean uses IPM too - integrated political management. Instead of being beholden to one party and ideology, he listens to all, comes up with solutions, and works with both sides of the proverbial aisle to get it done. We are very impressed with Sean's commitment to NY agriculture and would love to see him re-elected," said Sharon Soons, an Orange County farmer.

"Mr. Maloney has personally visited our farm and fields, and is all ears when it comes to hearing about the issues we face as young farmers," said Tim Heuer, a Dutchess County farmer.

"Over the past 2 years, Sean Maloney's office has gone out of its way to benefit agriculture. Several times they have helped me with explanations and support to local farm issues I've had. I am happy to have him as my Congressman," said Ervin Raboy, a third generation farmer in Putnam.
