Issue Position

Throughout their military careers, service members and their families sacrificed to protect our freedoms; we must honor those sacrifices by keeping the promises we made to provide them with the best services our nation can offer. Recent revelations that the Obama administration has failed to treat our veterans for their health issues in a timely manner is extraordinarily concerning and wholly unacceptable.

That is why I have joined the call for a thorough and transparent investigation so that those responsible are held accountable and to help ensure this never happens again. Earning back the trust of our veterans must be top priority of all our elected officials, and I vow to work with my colleagues to pass into law policies that ensure we keep the promises we made to our nation's veterans.
