Promoting a Culture of Life and Parental Rights

Born and raised a Roman Catholic, Dan believes in the sanctity of life. And as a father of three wonderful daughters, he knows there is no greater gift than being a parent. This responsibility, coupled with his faith and life experiences, has taught him that life begins at conception and we must fight to protect the lives of the unborn.

As Attorney General, he worked hard to defend the constitutionality of Alaska's Parental Notification Initiative Act, which promotes the rights and responsibilities of parents to be notified about major moral issues affecting their children, including those relating to possible abortions.
