American advancements in science and technology keep our country on the cutting edge of innovation and improve our quality of life. These advances are a product of our positive climate for innovation and development of intellectual property. Without these advancements, we will fall behind. We risk missing out on technological advances that would help our country operate cleaner and more efficient as well as curing diseases and ailments that afflict our friends and families. Republicans also strongly encourage emphasis on implementing more science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs and classes in all of our schools.

Republicans support research and development in science. By funding education and creating a friendly entrepreneurial environment we bring in new ideas that help America lead in science. America is no longer the global leader in science and math but we can change that through better education with an emphasis on math and science. Currently American ranks in the mid-twenties. We must strive to be 1st again.

Science means better medicine and better quality of life. Science means early detection and better than reversing things means understanding how foods and exercise can keep us healthy and happy. Science means understanding how the brain works, stem cells, DNA, and how to repair limbs and organs.

Knowledge in science is critical to our existence and must be embraced.
