State legislatures, when working properly, should push back against infringements of our civil liberties by the Federal Government, like the NSA's warrantless sweep of our calls, texts, emails and Internet browsing history. Fourteen states have passed or pending legislation that bans warrantless NSA data from being used in court. It's high time for Pennsylvania to start defending our civil liberties.
