Protecting our existing businesses and bringing more jobs to our district will be Walton's number one priority in Montgomery. Walton knows the key to creating jobs is investing in the people of Alabama.

By investing in our infrastructure and workforce development training, we can create jobs almost immediately, and investing in our schools will help create jobs in the long-term because I skilled, viable, workforce is essential in the recruitment of business and industry to our community.

Tax incentives with clawback provisions to protect the taxpayers can be a useful tool to bring new business to the district, but Walton knows small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and we have to level the playing field if we want these businesses to grow.
