Giving women equal pay for equal work is key to helping our middle class families get ahead. Shortchanging women is shortchanging our economy and our families. As a State Legislator, Pam sponsored Fair Wage Legislation to create new legal avenues and provide tougher penalties for employers who pay women less for the same work. She also supported legislation to support equal pay. As a Member of Congress, Pam will always support legislation to make it easier for working women to get ahead and provide for their families and that includes equal pay legislation.
