THE ECONOMY: We are #47! Something is painfully obvious ... what we are doing is not working well.
The CNN article found in the link below highlights the worst performing states and the best performing states in the years 2007 to 2013. It shows Arizona as #47 out of 50 states. Companies and people vote with their feet. We need to learn from other cities and states to see what they are doing to attract business growth and retain their talent. Our approach is not working.
Biggest losers: The 5 worst state economies

We must never lose sight of our liberty and freedoms and creating a high quality of life for our citizens but as citizens of Arizona we do have to come together to develop the Arizona we want and that others will find attractive for investment and business.
Business Growth: When our schools and markets are allowed to operate efficiently they will flourish and they will foster business development and job growth. I will work to engender the maximum small business growth and encourage migration of business and jobs to Arizona. We need laws, regulations and taxes consistent with the minimum necessary to assure a fair and level playing field for individuals, education, healthcare, and commerce to allow our markets to flourish.
