Gov. Rounds Announces the Program for Vermillion Capital for a Day

Gov. Mike Rounds and his team are taking state government to the people during Capital for a Day in Vermillion on April 20, 2005. The public is invited to join the activities starting at 3 p.m. (CT) at the Vermillion High School.

"Capital for a Day gives everyone who attends an opportunity to learn more about our state, and our government," said Gov. Rounds. "I'm looking forward to visiting Vermillion to learn more about the community and to visit with people living in and around Clay County."

"I'm encouraging the public to mark April 20 on their calendar," said Mayor Dan Christopherson. "They should plan to participate in the activities and interact with Gov. Rounds, First Lady Jean Rounds, and the various departments, as the business of state government is conducted in Vermillion."
