Issue Position

As the only veteran in this race, I will ensure that Florida continues to be the most veteran-friendly state in the country. I supported the recently passed legislation to grant immediate in-state tuition for service members who end their duty here in Florida and want to pursue higher education. I also support efforts to allow spouses and other family members to automatically receive professional licenses they hold in other states for the period of their assignment here in Florida. I will ensure that Veterans Services Officers (VSOs) are available to help them with medical and other support that they have earned through their service to our country.
