Issue Position: Abiding by the Constitution

Issues: Constitution

FOR THE SAKE OF OUR CHILDREN AND OUR GRANDCHILDREN, WASHINGTON MUST RETURN TO THE CONSTITUTION THAT OUR FOREFATHERS FOUGHT FOR.

Americans are sick and tired of being bullied into bailouts, the nationalization of our banks, more government expansion, and the federal takeover of our healthcare system.

This is not freedom and free enterprise. It is essential that we reinvigorate the American people's passion for the liberties of smaller, smarter government and the power of self reliance.

It is time to get back to the basics of keeping government limited and abiding by the United States Constitution. I am proud to see that the Tea Party Movement has energized Americans across the nation. Tea Parties are gaining momentum because they start in local communities, not in the halls of Congress.

Freedom is not free, and constant vigilance is a requirement to preserve the liberties we value so dearly. I am certain this movement will change America for the better by fighting to maintain our core principles that were put in place by our Founding Fathers.
