The Honorable Howard P. "Buck" McKeon, Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, gave the following statement after final passage of the Department of Defense Appropriations Act for FY2015:

"I am pleased that the House continued its longstanding tradition and passed this year's defense appropriations bill with broad bipartisan support. While I recognize that the current budget environment presented Members of the Appropriations Committee with some difficult choices, I believe this bill keeps faith with our warfighters and provides them with the tools they need to ensure our national security. I want to thank House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers and Defense Subcommittee Chairman Rodney Frelinghuysen for their leadership and their support of our men and women in uniform."
