Congressman Charles Rangel released the following statement on the release of American P.O.W. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl:
"Last Saturday was a cause for celebration as Sgt. Bergdahl was released from captivity. I am grateful for all those who worked with President Obama to ensure his safe return home, including American and Qatari officials. That Sgt. Bergdahl will now be able to reunite with his family is a remarkable success for the United States. I join others in commending our nation's Commander in Chief for bringing his soldier home."
