Governor Declares Public Service Recognition Week

Utah Gov. Gary R. Herbert has declared May 5-9, 2014, as Public Service Recognition Week in Utah. The declaration honors public employees in all levels of government, public education system, vocational training and higher education.

"I encourage Utah residents to recognize and applaud the outstanding accomplishments and contributions of public employees at all levels," said the governor. "They protect us from harm, teach our children, allow us to travel and communicate freely, and deliver a myriad of critical services to everyone who lives in this great state."
