While we need to maintain our National defense capabilities, the defense budget must not be immune from review for reductions.

While we must support our allies, we must be cautious about international entanglements.

No member of our armed forces should be forced to rely on such programs as SNAP to meet their needs.

We must ensure that our veterans receive the care, services and support they require.
