Department of Agriculture's Rural Business Cooperative Service Extends Grants Deadline

U.S. Representative Pete P. Gallego (D-Alpine) announced today that the Department of Agriculture's Rural Business -- Cooperative Service has extended the deadline for submitting grant applications to help independent producers enter into value-added activities as part of the Agriculture Risk Protection Act of 2000.

"Helping farmers, ranchers and those wishing to grow in the agriculture industry is important to me -- a member of the House Agriculture Committee," U.S. Rep. Gallego said. "Those wishing to learn more about this grant, or wishing to apply for a grant under this program, please contact the offices in 23rd District of Texas so staff can help you with process."
