Oklahomans know a thing or two about maintaining a safe, abundant energy supply. In his time in the Senate, Jim Inhofe has championed policies that encourage the U.S. to meet its energy needs domestically. Jim knows that exploring for energy here at home isn't just about jobs, it's about national security.

America is far too dependent upon foreign sources for the energy it needs, and Jim knows that we can produce what we need here at home. Government just needs to get out of the way. Oklahoma's energy industry leads the world in technological innovation that maximizes safety, efficiency and environmental responsibility. If you want clean, safe, abundant energy, American production is the way to go.

Jim also knows that while traditional energy sources are important, America's energy portfolio should include more than fossil fuels. Jim supports an "all of the above" energy strategy that not only includes increased coal, oil and gas exploration, but continued development of innovative uses of wind, solar, nuclear energy and cellulosic biofuels.
