Issue Position

I believe in a level playing field for everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, or sex. That means making sure the Small Business Administration (SBA) does a better job in administrating contracts that are specifically designed to go to disabled veteran- and minority-owned businesses. It also means protecting the most sacred of rights: the right to vote. The recent efforts by state GOP leaders to disenfranchise mostly minority Floridian voters of their right to vote is appalling. I am committed to eliminating discrimination, whether it's based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
