Issue Position

The economic condition of our Nation is shaped by the performance of our middle class. We must fight for sound policies and programs that provide paths to the middle class, stability and upward mobility. This is America. A place where one can start with nothing, proceed to attaining education, working hard, and providing a sound quality of life for his or her family. This path does not see color, religious beliefs, or political beliefs; it does not disqualify anyone. Instead, it respects and embraces each difference. While we believe in a free market, we understand the importance of parameters that level the playing field for fair competition. Creating and sustaining employment opportunities on American soil are critical to the vitality of our economy. American shores should be the competing turf, not that of foreign nations.
