Law for Dropped Coverage

Statement

Texas Congressman Kevin Brady released the following statement after voting for the "Keep Your Health Care Plan Act', sponsored by Fred Upton (R-MI):

"It's important to try but, honestly, too much harm has already been done for this to help much. I warned four years ago that tens of thousands of Texas families would be abandoned when the President failed to keep his promise to let them keep their policies.

"At this late date I'm not convinced there's a magic wand the White House or Congress can wave to make the old coverage reappear. Families have no one to blame but those who support President Obama's painful new law."
