Rep Walberg Votes to Provide Funding for Veterans and Military Infrastructure

Statement

Today Rep Walberg voted in favor of H.R. 2216, the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies Appropriations Act. H.R. 2216 will provide the nation's military with the funding they need to maintain military infrastructure while continuing to fund veterans' benefits and programs. The bill passed with bipartisan support by a vote of 421-4.

"This bill reflects our commitment to our nation's veterans by making sure they receive the resources they need during service and when they return home. It's also fiscally smart, ensuring funds go exactly where they are needed. Our veterans and troops deserve the best in service and care for their dedication and sacrifice for our country," commented Rep Walberg following the vote.
