From his courageous service in the Army during World War II, to his dedication to the residents of New Jersey, his record represents the spirit and commitment of the greatest generation of which he was a part. The Senate will miss his statesmanship and his leadership. And I will miss a very dear friend. Marcelle and I send our sympathy to Bonnie and his family."
