Today U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released the following statement on the Kermit Gosnell Grand Jury Report.

"I am shocked and appalled by the situation uncovered at the Women's Medical Society of Philadelphia, and by the allegations made in the charges against Dr. Kermit Gosnell. The grand jury report was chilling; no individual should ever be exposed to the terrible conditions found at Dr. Gosnell's facility, or subject to such appalling and unscrupulous practices as those used by Kermit Gosnell and his staff. I am encouraged that he is being forcefully prosecuted by the Philadelphia District Attorney."
