Welcome To Miami Mr. President, But Look At What Your Policies Have Done To Our Economy With Unemployment Stubbornly High & Small Businesses Paralyzed By Uncertainty, Says Ros-Lehtinen

With President Obama slated to be in Miami on Friday to discuss the economy, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) issued the following statement welcoming him to Miami but stating that his economic policies have been disastrous on our small businesses and have stifled job creation.

Said Ros-Lehtinen, "I welcome the President to our great city of Miami, but I ask him to see firsthand what his economic policies have produced. Unemployment remains stubbornly high with tepid economic growth hindering the creation of jobs Americans so desperately need.

To make matters worse, the President's economic policies have brought much uncertainty and small businesses are paralyzed by fear. Our $16.7 trillion national debt continues rising unchecked with the Administration adding an extra trillion dollars in debt every year. Clearly we are on an unsustainable path.

When the President arrives in Miami on Friday, he will espouse the achievements of his economic policies but many of my constituents in South Florida know better."
