House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) issued the following statement today following the release of the latest unemployment numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics:

"Too many Americans -- young parents, seniors, veterans, and recent college graduates -- remain out of work and all of them deserve better. With 12 million Americans still looking for jobs, Republicans remain committed to creating jobs through smarter spending cuts and reforms that balance the budget and pave the way for economic growth."
