Today, Congresswoman Janice Hahn (CA-44) released the following statement on the resignation of Small Business Administrator Karen Mills:

"Small businesses are the beating heart of our economy. As Small Business Administrator, Karen Mills was part of the team that got that heart beating again after one of the most brutal economic downturns in a generation.

There's still more to be done. We need to do more to get entrepreneurs and small businesses in our community the access to capital they need to hire and grow. And I want to keep working to open new opportunities for Latino-owned businesses--the fastest growing segment of small business ownership in the nation. As a member of the House Small Business Committee, I'm looking forward to working with Administrator Mills' successor as well."
