Chris Murphy released the following statement on the ongoing rocket attacks against Israel:

I strongly condemn the ongoing rocket attacks against Israel, which began without provocation and have resulted in the death of innocent civilians. No country in the world would stand by while missiles were launched towards its towns and cities. I support Israel's inherent right to self-defense and call on those responsible to immediately halt the attacks and avoid a further escalation of violence, which will hurt both Israelis and Palestinians.
