Federal Spending

Statement

Despite President Obama's promises to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term, the U.S. is on its way to a fifth straight $1 trillion-plus annual deficit. If we raise taxes, like the Democrats currently propose, I see no reason to believe that this will prevent continued over-spending. We need comprehensive cuts in federal spending to solve our long-term budget issues.
