As ranking Assistant Attorney General, Pam increased penalties on child sexual predators. As a former prosecutor, she also recognized that because of these stricter penalties more crimes involving children would be going to trial. This is why she worked with both political parties to create multi-disciplinary child forensic interview teams around the state. These teams ensure that prosecutors have solid evidence for trial and most importantly protect child victims from further trauma of repeated interviews, so they can move on with their lives and the healing process.

Pam is dedicated to ensuring that Montana's Sex Offender Registry is maintained, and that local law enforcement officers have the resources they need to keep communities safe from violent crime.
