Issue Position: What should the state do to lower energy costs?

Issue Position

The cheapest new energy source is conservation. Negawatts should be encouraged and rewarded to save energy. Reliance on fossil fuels from the other side of the world should be lowered as much as possible. Public transportation, clean energy, and conservation would go far to lower our energy use and costs.
