This weekend I met with our friends and neighbors in Hernandez and had a great conversation with Dennis and his family about the importance of investing in education. Dennis was born and raised in Hernandez and is studying engineering at NM Tech. Dennis and I talked about the need to protect Pell Grants and how many students in New Mexico count on these grants to help them attend college and get a good education that will help them get ahead.
