Rep Walberg Votes to Protect American Jobs, Support U.S. Energy Production

Statement

Date: Sept. 21, 2012
Location: Washington, DC

Today Rep Tim Walberg voted in favor of H.R. 3409, a legislative package designed to stop costly regulations which threaten jobs and affordable electricity.

"Today's vote is another instance of the House addressing excessive regulations that are blocking more American energy production and costing jobs. It continues to be disappointing that the Senate has failed to help address high energy costs and more than 30 other bipartisan, House-passed jobs bills. I remain committed to helping put Americans back to work and making sure the government doesn't hinder American energy development," commented Rep Walberg following the vote.
