Issue Position

Barry is intent on making Drug abuse one of his top priorities. While understanding that "Meth" is a serious problem in our district, He also realizes that prescription drug abuse is equally devastating to our citizens. While applauding recent efforts to control drug abuse in Tennessee, Barry also believes that we must get serious and institute real measures instead of "band aids" to solve drug abuse that is doing irrevocable damage to our friends and families. Prescription drug abuse crosses all social and economic boundaries and we must find a remedy to slow the abuse quickly.
