On the Campaign Trail with Sue

Our current Republican Congressman has a plan to create jobs…overseas! He has voted to redesign the tax system so it rewards multinational corporations that ship American jobs overseas -- encouraging as many as 800,000 jobs to be created in foreign countries. The McKinley-Ryan tax plan would allow multinational corporations that outsource jobs to pay lower taxes in the country where they shipped those jobs instead of paying their fair share here at home.

Congressman McKinley has repeatedly chosen to protect millionaires and corporations outsourcing jobs, at the expense of seniors on Medicare or Social Security, veteran's health care, and the poor or middle class. I say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Millionaires don't need another tax loophole at the expense of American workers and living wage jobs. I've always been a strong advocate for workers in West Virginia. We need more jobs in manufacturing, construction and public works right here in our state and nation. Isn't it time large, greedy corporations are held accountable for the debt they owe this nation.

I believe that patriotism is far more important than profits at the expense of workers and their families. I've always been a strong believer in the American Dream. I've long since grown tired of folks like McKinley and the Republican congress destroying it with their constant rewards to the rich. This is not hard to understand. Folks in the middle class are the true job creators. Let's get busy, get involved in this race. Please support our campaign so that I can make your voices heard in D.C. I'll work tirelessly, defending West Virginia jobs and values in Washington! Let's put a THORN in the side of CONGRESS!
