As a Pierce County Councilman, Muri has worked with both Democrats and Republicans to pass many ordinances and resolutions to create jobs in Pierce County. Together these changes allowed the county to create hundreds of jobs and build roads when costs were at near record lows -- a triumph for job creation and sound budgeting. All this was achieved without raising taxes.

As our next congressman, Dick will again reach across the aisle to work with Democrats and his fellow Republicans to repair and expand America's failing infrastructure system, creating jobs today and improving the economy for the future

As your Pierce County Council representative, he worked in a bi-partisan fashion to pass nine balanced budgets, which resulted in healthy fund balances.

He also chairs the Pierce County Performance Audit Committee and in so doing saved tax dollars while improving efficiency and customer service. Success is possible.
