Simple. Stop cutting it. Our districts haven't recovered from last years' $1 billion cut. Stop punishing successful districts like TCAPS who have cut $13 million over the last 10 years. And make it equitable. It's wrong that a child attending Kingsley or TCAPS receives thousands of dollars less in funding than a student in a downstate district.

First, we need to ask "What does a world-class, comprehensive pre-school to post-secondary education look like?" And then we find a way to fund it. It's not about preschool vs. K-12 vs. colleges, it's about investing in the greatest resource we have: our young people.
